Reverse osmosis

Reverse osmosis is a process that uses pressure to force a solvent (usually water) through a semi-permeable membrane. It is used for obtaining drinking water from sea water, obtaining ultrapure water for medicine, industry and other needs. Reverse osmosis systems provide efficient water filtration. This is perhaps the cleanest, non-chemical way to get water without smell, taste and color. This system can remove up to 97% of dissolved substances in water, 98% of organic and inorganic compounds, more than 99% of bacteria and viruses.

OSMOSIS COMPOSITION.
• Pre-filter – pre-filtration is performed by a mechanical filter that prevents particles larger than 5 microns from entering the membrane membrane.
• Inlet solenoid valve – located at the inlet of the system. Controls water entering the system.
• Pump – increases water pressure to deliver water to the RO – membrane filter. The pump works only during water supply, the pressure of which should exceed 1.5 atm.
• Membrane filter housing – the membrane filter is placed inside the housing. Both ends of the membrane are hermetically sealed with caps.
• RO Membrane Filter – The filter is the main component of the entire system. Serves for water purification. Water passes through multiple layers of membrane and then mesh membranes (whose pore diameter is 200 times smaller than the size of viruses and 4000 times smaller than the size of bacteria), removing up to 99.9% of all contaminants that may be present in the water, such as germs, bacteria , bacterial cysts, lead, barium, chromium, mercury, sodium, cadmium, fluorine, nitrite, nitrate, selenium, phosphorus, phosphates, hexavalent chromium and other inorganic compounds.
• Flowmeters – measure infiltration and concentrate flow volumes
• Manometer – used to measure water pressure in the system
• Digital Conductor – used to measure permeability specific conductance (total ion concentration)
• Low pressure sensor – responsible for turning off the pump in case of lack of water or insufficient water pressure
• High pressure sensor – stops or restarts the filtration process

Water temperature 5-45 °C
Working pressure 1.5-6 bar
